Flash Film Works worked on the 2010 HBO films mini-series "THE PACIFIC." Much of the work on the mini-series involved adding in distant fleet boats and near ground landing crafts during the beach landings at Guadalcanal and Peleliu. These sequences involved compositing of numerous 2D and 3D elements to create several hundred shots. The company also added tracer fire, explosions, muzzle flashes and debris to several battle sequences in the show. Flash Film Works was extensively involved in episodes 1, 2, 5 and 7.

Flash Film Works work on episode 5 of "The Pacific" won the Television Academy Emmy Award for Best Visual Effects in a Mini-Series or Movie made for television.

Flash FIlm Works also won two Visual Effects Society awards for "THE PACIFIC:" Outstanding Visual Effects in a Broadcast Mini-Series, Movie or Special and Outstanding Compositing in a Broadcast Program or Commercial.
