HISTORY OF FLASH FILM WORKS



WILLIAM MESA got his start as the Creative Director of INTROVISION INTERNATIONAL where he worked on several major films of the 80s and 90s including THE FUGITIVE, ARMY OF DARKNESS, UNDER SIEGE, FEARLESS, OUTLAND and DARKMAN.


After leaving Introvision he founded FLASH FILM WORKS, where he continued to work on major films such as DEEP BLUE SEA, THE GUARDIAN, HOLES, THE WATERBOY, and THE DAY THE EARTH STOOD STILL. Flash Film Works also worked in television on BIRDS OF PREY, THE LIBRARIANS, GHOST WHISPERER and JANE THE VIRGIN as well as HBO's award winning mini-series THE PACIFIC.


Mesa and his companies have won three EMMY AWARDS, two VISUAL EFFECTS SOCIETY AWARDS, a technical achievement ACADEMY AWARD and several advertising awards.
